Trans-Issues Workshops

I have designed and led various informational and skills-based workshops on topics related to trans awareness, inclusivity, and self-love.

Participating in San Diego Trans Pride

The drag queen Sadie Pins is a frequent participant community level activism, between attendance at pride parades, raising money for community members to cover funeral costs, and supporting larger issues like fighting food insecurity.

Representing Trans Tea Time at Pridefest

Sadie Hochman-Ruiz spearheads a variety of queer-focused initiatives within her professional life, between Chairing SAFE-ERG––a collaborative group for staff and faculty focused on queer acceptance––to providing programming and support for students (Pride Club, Trans Tea Time, and more).
